My recent work for the module Professional Practice in which I had to design a capsule collection to be worn with leather statement pieces by Una Burke. 

The collection was inspired by the ancient Egyptians and the weighing of the heart ceremony.

A Mod Mod World

For my new project, which is to design a collection of outerwear for 2025, I chose to look back at the Mod's. This is a subject I absoloutely love! The clothes, the music, everything is just amazing. I could look at pictures on Pinterest for hours, but here are a few that really inspire my work. 

Christian Dior Haute Couture SS15

Is there anything more perfect than a new Christian Dior collection hitting the catwalk? In my opinion of course there isn't! Raf Simons showed a wonderfully modern collection this season, with latex legging boots and Playsuit's reminiscent of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust. As usual there was the classic Dior gown subtly thrown in too but with Simons own spin.  Here are my favourite looks from the catwalk.
